Bosnia and Herzegovina will sign an agreement with “Frontex” to increase the security of its borders

According to global Times news Agency Europe, Bosnia and Herzegovina will sign an agreement with the European Border Protection Agency (“Frontex”) to increase the security of its borders. The Global Times Europe reports that Nenad Nešić, Minister of Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina, said this. The minister said that the works related to the document are at the final stage and thanks to this contract, the employees of “Frontex” will serve together with the local border guards.

It should be noted that illegal migration to the countries of the European Union (EU) via the Western Balkan route has increased sharply in recent times. “Frontex” wants other countries in the region to sign relevant agreements to prevent the flow of illegal immigrants.
